The Big Give Christmas Challenge 2020

THE DIGITAL ACADEMY

In response to the Covid-19 crisis, this year, the Academy successfully raised £100,000 to create and broadcast a series of online performances through the first phase of our Digital Campaign.

Our aim now is to raise a further £100,000 to fund a second year of digital activity in 2021. By taking part in this year’s Big Give Christmas Challenge we aim to secure £20,000 in just one week to fund new studio recordings and a major new audio-visual recording with the orchestra and Academy Music Director, Joshua Bell. This is a competitive match-funding campaign: between December 1st and 8th, all donations will be doubled.

Your support towards the campaign will allow us to continue to provide much-needed work for our artists, whose lives continue to be so dramatically impacted by ongoing restrictions, whilst also expanding our library of audio-visual recordings for our audiences.
